Amy and Anna Square Off: Wintour Is Coming
“I have to be honest with you, I’m not like the most comfortable I’ve ever felt.”
“Really? I mean, Amy… you look very comfortable.”
And there it is. An ‘anything you can do, I can do better’ tone is set for this hilarious Vogue original short starring beloved comedian, Amy Schumer, and Vogue editor-in-chief extraordinaire, Anna Wintour.
Starring on the cover of Vogue’s July issue, Schumer doesn’t really feel the need to play down her larger than life personality, and Wintour agrees. In fact, another thing they can agree upon is that their jobs are fairly easy. And by that they mean, Wintour and Schumer propose that if they switched roles, it would be a walk in the park. Their ridiculous antics inspire the age-old realization of: ‘never judge someone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.’ In Schumer’s case, the shoes she must walk in may or may not be be really, really uncomfortable and blister inducing.
Check out who wins and who loses in this comical sketch that shows Wintour’s rarely seen, lighter side.
