Advertisers Are Just The Worst
Someone probably lost their job last week for allowing a silly message to be approved, printed, and shared to the masses in the London Underground last week. Match.com released an ad campaign claiming that freckles are an example of an imperfection that can be overlooked when working from the pool of candidates that its database has. Cue an enormous outrage from the heavily Scotch-Irish population that travels in the Tube daily. Since the outpour of criticism, Match.com has issued a public apology and has since removed the advertisement from all tube lines.
